The Ten Commandents
According to Off-Roading
| 1. Plan your trip and don't attempt to do what you are
not fully equipped for. 2. If you haul it in then haul it out; and if you can clean up others rubbish then do so. 3. Avoid mud and soft ground wherever possible without leaving the designated track. 4. Only ford streams and water courses at designated areas. 5. Don't deviate from designated routes. 6. Only camp on recognised camping areas and not next to streams or trails. 7. Wherever possible, drive carefully over obstacles rather than leave the trail to detour around them. 8. Avoid widening a trail by driving centre track. 9. Straddle ruts and gullies. 10. Seek permission to drive on privately owned land. |
